Welcome to A Beary Cozy Hideaway! Located in Wears Valley and surrounded by the serene mountains, this cabin is rich with character. As you approach the cabin, you will be amazed by the flat, open yard followed by the Beary Cozy Hideaway as the backdrop. It is perfect for families or groups looking for a retreat and an escape with nature.

 BEDROOMS
The décor of each bedroom has been inspired by the local black bears giving you that Smoky Mountain ambiance throughout the cabin. Bedrooms are equipped with closets, luggage racks, ceiling fans, and flat screen TVs.

The master bedroom is located on the upper level a few steps away from the kitchen and features a king bed, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi, and walk-in closet. A 55” flat screen TV along with a Roku player provides pleasurable entertainment. Access to the upper deck will distract you to venture out to take in the views and peaceful surroundings.

Across the upper level is the Cub Pack Room consisting of a canopy twin bed with a trundle tucked underneath. The special feature and main attraction for the little cubs is the loft above where all of the cubs can gather to play and enjoy their own little hideaway. A twin air mattress is located in the large closet if there is another cub that doesn’t want to miss out spending time with the rest of the pack. A flat screen TV and DVD player sits in the corner to keep these cubs entertained along with some toys and books.

A few steps away from the Cub Pack Room is the Wildlife Room filled with hints of the outdoors. A queen bed, generous closet, mirror, and a TV with Roku is tucked away in the armoire. Similar to the master bedroom, this room has access to the upper deck to appreciate the tranquil views. Beware of the deer peeking out of the wall who is also savoring the views out the upper deck.

On the lower level is the Cub Room outfitted with a comfortable king bed, 40” flat screen Roku TV, and luggage rack. Nestled in the nook of this room is a crib perfect for any family that may be travelling with their bundle of joy who can claim their own safe place.

The Bunk Room is another spacious room located on the lower level towards the front of the cabin. It has a queen bed along with a queen bunk bed and a 32” TV with a DVD player. Don’t be startled by the toy cub relaxing on the rocker. He promises not to bite.

 BATHROOMS
The cabin has 3 full bathrooms – one on the lower level and two on the upper level. Each bathroom provides the necessary elements including soap, shampoo, and cotton essentials.
The master bedroom ensuite bathroom has a dual vanity, shower, and jacuzzi with spa style setting.
Both of the remaining bathrooms feature a tub and shower.


 KITCHENS + LIVING ROOM + BAR
The upper level has amazing vaulted ceilings with an open concept highlighted with a wall of windows exposing the beautiful views.
Create a wonderful dish in the fully stocked kitchen featuring an island with countertop bar seating and ample space for everyone. Take pleasure in the Keurig coffee maker when you need that extra pick up. The kitchen also boasts a toaster oven, blender, rice cooker, pots and pans, electric hand mixer, crock pot, and much more.

The dining area is conveniently adjacent to the kitchen with seating for 6. Five additional seats are situated around the island.

While chefs are busy preparing meals, others can unwind and get cozy in the living room sofas enjoying a book or watching on the flat screen TV using the Roku or DVD player.
Sit by the stone fireplace or turn on the central heating to adjust to your comfort. On those warm days, ceiling fans are available in the bedrooms, game room, and main living room. Central A/C is also available. There are separate controls on each level for central heating and A/C.

On the lower level there is a bar with a small kitchen furnished with a small coffee maker, glasses fit for the beverage of your choice, and modern appliances. Under cabinet LED lights as well as a lighted art frame add to the charm of the bar. A wine cooler that can hold numerous bottles of wine is also available.

 GAME ROOM
When you enter the cabin through the lower level double doors, you will find the game room with a pool table in the middle of the room. Along with this centerpiece is an air hockey table, arcade games, and board games. For those waiting for their turn to join in the fun, a 55” flat screen TV with Roku can offer additional entertainment.

 THEATER
It is time for movie night! For a more cinematic experience, neighboring the Game Room is the Theater Room featuring a 75” smart flat screen TV and surround sound speakers. Stream your favorite movies or pop in a DVD as you relax and get comfy on the recliner sofas.

 LAUNDRY ROOM
There is a laundry room available upstairs if you need to wash any clothes. A iron and ironing board are also located in here.

 OUTDOOR SPACE
As you look outside the front of the cabin, the surrounding mountains will call you to step out onto the front upper deck or lower patio. Come out and sit on the rocker chairs, sip that beverage of your choice and enjoy the calming views. Moving past the main kitchen is a rear lanai with bench seating and a barbecue grill where you can rustle up another dish of your choice.

After exploring the parkway or a hike in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, relax in the hot tub and benefit from another opportunity to take in the valley views. Adjacent is a firepit where you can roast marshmallows and make smores or to simply sit and relax by the fire sharing stories.
Kids will love and enjoy the open space as they run around while parents can relax observing them on the upstairs deck or bench swing below. Stop and play games such as corn hole and ladder toss or take pleasure having a meal at the outdoor patio.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire cabin (excluding locked closets). Please make yourself at home!

Other Things to Note

Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us and all our guests. The cabin is professionally cleaned before and after each stay.

Hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every guest stay.

High speed Wi-Fi is included.

The cabin is equipped with exterior security cameras for guest safety and cabin security.

Bath towels and linens are provided.

The upstairs window shades can be tricky to open. These do not have a string to pull. Instead you hold them from the bottom center portion, slightly pull away from the window, and lift up to the desired height. It can go all the way to the top if you wish. Again, you need to pull them slightly away from the window (towards you) to prevent hitting the glass window decorations.

Outdoor games such as corn hole and ladder toss are located in the outdoor storage bin. You will find the storage bin at the backyard below the rear upper deck. Please enjoy these items. We only ask that you please place them back in the storage bin after use and especially if it's raining or a forecast of rain.

There are remotes on the downstairs kitchen counter for accent lighting. One is for the under cabinet lights and another for the art glass piece on the wall. For the under cabinet lighting, aim the remote towards the upper cabinet to the left of the microwave.
